 -American Heritage Museum to celebrate the creativity of wife and husband 
 artists Indira and Karl Johnson in  “Migrating Visions”. Indira’s ro
 ots in India emerge in sculptural forms utilizing recycled materials to ad
 dress issues of permanence and decay\, strength and vulnerability. With ro
 ots in Sweden\, Karl incorporates the rhythm and beauty\, chaos and incons
 istencies of dynamic systems found in nature in multilayered designs. Lise
  Mckean\, an art curator who incorporates interests in anthropology\, acti
 vism and South Asia in her work\, will moderate a discussion with the arti
 sts.\n\n\n\nKarl Johnson (www.karljohnson.com)\n\n\nThe celebration will f
 eature performers from Mandala Performing Arts and Nordic Folk Dancers as 
 well as Indian American snacks and Swedish sweets.\n\nAdmission is $10. Ti
