In a small apartment near bustling Devon Avenue — known as “Gandhi Marg” — a sister’s visit to a newlywed couple sets off fireworks. Indian immigrants wrestle with love and marriage, tradition and assimilation, art and commerce in Anita Chandwaney’s intimate portrait of Chicago’s hub of Indian culture.
