Curu Saroja Vaidyanathan provided guidance to Rama after she received intense training from Yamini Krishnamurthy. Beats of Life, Rhythms of Heritage presents: Prashant Shah, a disciple of Padma Bhushan Smt. Kumudini Lakhia, has won critical acclaim for his graceful performance of a wide repertoire of Kathak, which traces its origins to the nomadic bards of ancient northern India known as Kathaks, or storytellers.

IAHM’s programs showcase Indian American talent in all arenas, including dance, music, film, theater, photography, science and literature.
